Noooo what with Lucky Luke..

BTW, I have posted a ticket about one of my Squared not allowing people to save games on them.. can samoeone who know how.. check its status for me?.. and what is the longest time for things being looked at? (shall I be scared?)

A second thought.. maybe simply removing the shadows is not the best idea? I also know someone would have to work on it to fix it as well..

Why make artificial shadows when we have standard engine-side for everything?
Also such shadows make it hard to rotate structures (they all start dropping shadows in different directions), and rotating is essential (specially for huts).

Well done.

Question: The Zebra stripeing - makes for nice contrast and highlight, is it representative of dunes ?

Observation: I think these Cliff decals would work better than current stock for stock distro.

I figured about the cliffs. Still prefer how they come across in this toon variant when compressed (esp on turns) and on those long stretches where there are vertical irregularities - what happens with these here in the toon ver is that the serpentine banding in the stock is broken up in a more "naturally" pleasing way. At least that my subjective impression.

I'll post some screens l8r to be better illustrate what I'm fumbling with words here to express.

@Andrie: Shooting screen caps can be like photography in a number of ways. Sometimes it takes 50 - 100 shots (or more !) to get just one that stands out aesthetically with an unusual evocative power. Lately been doing this for a WZ comic book that also blends in first person PoV 3D modeling work.

However, this particular screen here was different than those in that its goal from the get-go was to expand on the conversation by graphically illustrating the contrasting perceptions that are the result of subtle art technique. Glad you found it of some value. :) Makes the effort more worthwhile, to be sure, than plunking it into a mini black hole, this cultural's anti-cosmopolitan norm. :3

Then again, trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear is usually ill advised when you take a bricolage effort outside the art studio proper. :hmm:
