Has anyone ever seen "VTOL Early Warning Tower" in the game on any version ? (PSX? 1.x?)
I can't seem to locate them, but I have seen docs mention them...

Gonna start up my PSX after a long game and check it out.
Nothing that hints to VTOL Early Warning tower. It might be the VTOL Strike Tower though.
It is also mentioned in the game manual.
"VTOL Early Warning Tower
------------------------
This tower scans for approaching enemy and assigns them as the VTOLs
target. The VTOLs are scrambled to attack the incoming enemy."
It sounds like the static version of the Strike Turret, aka Strike Tower.

Well, i wouldn't mind replacing vtol strike tower with vtol early warning tower for multiplayer balance.

Thing is, I have no idea what the model for the Early Warning tower is and according to the manual what it does is exactly what the VTOL Strike Tower does.

Yes, I saw it in the manual, and I was scratching my head, since I never saw it before...

It was probably a reference to the strike tower and was mislabeled in the manual

I mean, as in a tower that warns that your enemy builds a vtol factory.
Or shows any flying vtol around the map, probably as radar blip. Or something like that
