Thousands of free, worthwhile fonts
BTW, I think we should use more content from the FMVs.

The best thing to do when your philosophies don't stand up to debate is to lock the thread and claim victory.

* Your absolutely right about that.Serman wrote: ..........
I think these concept drawings make the game look more attractive from the website, than it really is... in-game.
* However, in Pumpkin's case, they had every intention of making good on those promises eventually since Wz was intended to be a "Franchise" product like "AOE", "CIV" or "Halo"... that is, an ongoing, living, evolving product.
* I found a similar misleading tac for many years in the case of CGI cut-scenes - they were so much better than the in-game experience. Now-a-days that is not so much a prob 'cause in-game rendering is just so spectacular you can make your FMVs with the engine.
* This misleading element is still a factor, IMHO, when it comes to WZ's CAM GPMs vs MP GPMs.
* Personally I was 1st seduced by WZ's CAM GPMs - brilliantly varied, structured & scripted.
* On the other hand, MP GPMs always devolved (if your wanted to win) to same 'ol, same 'ol, "strat" and indeed many of these short-commings where dealt within the MP community by designing maps & start of game rules to make-up for the GPM deficiences. If it wasn't for such efforts, esp in Coop-MP, IMHO, WZ MP would have been still-born or died an early death instead of helping keep the game alive.
* These are all considerations that I weigh with care as I work on the "Trinity" Machinima. That is - I want to portray honestly what exsists now & what is yet possible, desirable, feasible, generative, expansive - without resorting to gross miss-representation or pie-in-the-sky trickery. At least that is the goal & balancing act.

Re: Some banners I made.
I think what makes your first banner so good (besides the content) is that it is small. It is not as high as the others, so it fits nicely into signatures and the likes. And the text seems easier to read than that of the others. Clearly seperated from the rest of the image, good contrast.
Re: Some banners I made.
They are to big for signatures.
468x60 standard banner are okay if they are < 150KiB

We all have the same heaven, but not the same horizon.
Re: Some banners I made.
Well, you can always resize them.
I'll get to work on smaller versions anyway for people who don't have much space/limitations.
