Here is my test bake as promised, final lowpoly is 164 triangles.
Any ideas for the top of the tracked part, or should I just leave it blank?

Re: Models by Jorzi (AR)
Each time go change the ammos on my chain guns I come close to brake me a leg. This track flat surface is way too slippery. I'm lucky I'm working at base. I dont want to imagine the nighmare it is on the battle field with your boots full of muds. Can you put some embeded pattern or some rubber carpet there on the texture for the engineer ?Jorzi wrote:Here is my test bake as promised, final lowpoly is 164 triangles.

Tanks frequently have stuff strapped to their hull mostly from their infantry supports.

Re: Models by Jorzi (AR)
Thank you for the suggestions
@Iluvalar: not sure about the grip pads since it would deviate a bit too much from the other propulsions... (also, these vehicles will rarely, if ever, be driven or served by humans)
@dak180: I was thinking a bit about that, I'll try and see if it looks good...
Meanwhile:
Started a sculpt on a scavenger dude (a bit of organic modeling is good for a change)
Edit: Fun fact, I used da Vinci's famous drawing for anatomy refernce
(it was actually better than most others on google)
