Cheats don't work for me and I'm sure I wrote the shortcut parametre correct. First I tried the non-debug version of the newest build, and then the debug version hoping it would get the cheats to work. It's very annoying, since sometimes I want just to make the researches finish fast to play a quick game and not tech up for an hour to get what I want. Is there something I have to do what I don't know about?

first off where have you installed warzone.

here is the shortcut i have for the 2.0.7 version ( not the nightly version) on windows.

"C:\Warzone 2100_207_png\warzone2100.exe" --fullscreen --viewport 1280x1024 --cheat

your path may be different.

second:  go to the first ingame menu screen - choose options - keymappings.... click on the garbage icon in the upper left - click it a few times. .... exit that screen back to main screen...quit.... restart and go ingame..... press the shift key and back space key together.  you will see in the upper  left part of the screen something to the effect of you cheating....  now press the ctrl key and o key (oh key)  not the zero key.

you will be presented with a menu - use the stuctures or the units menus....  the others may give problems...
‎"to prepare for disaster is to invite it, to not prepare for disaster is a fools choice" -me (kim-lav_coyote25-metcalfe) - it used to be attributed to unknown - but adding the last bit , it now makes sense.

Cheats only work in debug build. Just follow lav_coyote25's guide.

I see this isn't a very "nightly" build anymore...  ???

Because there aren't many changes every day.
Well, i'd try to do a build of the current trunk. I hope it works...
I tested them only with starting a small skirmish game.

Debug build of revision 2465
Release build of revision 2465

The builds are just a few minutes old. Compiled with mingw 4.2 under windows.

Edit
It looks that in the release build, the aivolution mod isn't included.
Instead of recompiling you can grab the wz package here: http://files.wz2100.net/nightly/aivolution.wz

After fixing the buildsystem, here comes a build including everything.
The exe includes debugging informations, but is not a debug build.
Means: Minidumps created by it should be helpful, but you don't get any extra asserts (intended immediate exits if some parameters have unexpected values; some people think they are crashes, which they are not).

After some heavy duty school startup stuff, I have, yet again, compiled a new nightly build. This one is for revision 2472.

r2472 debug version
r2472 non-debug version

Juhu thanks

Keep it rolling ;)

On thing though, can you include some sort of changelog to every version?

I noticed in the nightly build that when alt-tabbing out of the game, the game stops playing.
However with the 2.0.7 and 2.0.8RC it keeps playing.
I prefer the game to continue playing when I do something else and if I want to stop it, just to pauze it.

I also had a problem with selecting units in the nightly build, I tried selecting them and I draw a large box around it, but I'm only able to select 1 or 2 and when I move them, it's like they fly back on screen from outside the map.
Saving and reloading didn't solved the issue.
In the end I deleted the nightly build and went to try out 2.0.8RC that came out (waiting for Grims GFX fix there, currently playing with the old GFX)

When will the next nightly build be out ?

Here is a little bug I've noticed.

There seems to be a problem with the german custom vocals ( ö ä ü)
Then what is that problem ? The fact that "there seems to be a problem" is not a bug, it's an interpretation of you. The problem is, I don't know an interpretation of what it is.

So please elaborate.

Last build reports that it cannot find libfontconfig-1.dll. Also the name of the game is not displayed in the windows menu.
