Iluvalar no? My friend paraphrase please or give an example but from NoQ's involvement here you should already know such thing desired by my mapmaking heard simply do not exist..

raul0000000000000000 I assume there is no such a thing yet, or maybe some fanatic of ours made something himself at a basic level.

Virus :)
I hope you help
you want him to help you in what? ;)

And I am afraid he (lazy man? ;)) want something like a video tutorial so he does not need to read or he is great at sight memory. Speed painting is simply.. speed painting, but with pause option it may actually help. But what he desire, I assume, is a movie where a sexy female voice says. "to paint entire map click onto terrain painter tab and select "all" box, then click paint. And he sees the actions on the screen at the same time. :)

For the sake of the voice.. I would like such a thing too :3

Indeed it is, I am only remarking about the paradox of asking for help, easier one, while the normal one, the written one, is provided..

oh for crying out loud. Really?

do we need the "sexy"? i would settle for any voice, just as long as i could follow whats going on... then again... No, i think a computer genorated voice would be best. so the WarZone girls arnt "alienated" and think us all pervs.

then again i could be acting out against the "sexy", its way over used i think.

i know. "shut up spyro!" Fine.

I assume that you are very young then :3 with time you will understand ;)

Flail when you happen to come back, and not escape overwhelmed by the request situation.

How about possibility to set my height that I and I only use while painting? those tabs, I have no idea how they work now, shut digits at random?

Also an indicator, that would highlite for example 200, height on the minimap in places where exactly 200 was used to paint height. What for? well I paint maps manually, so thats all :3

Hi all, I have a question about cliffs. I did a bit of searching and looked at the relevant sections in the linked guides but to no avail.

When I first tested my maps I noticed that none of the 'cliffs' (as in heightmap) were acting as cliffs in the game. So I went back to the editor and used the Cliff Paint tool and added cliffs. The cliffs turned into the Red Terrain type. I saved, compiled and loaded up the map only to find that the Cliff Paint was unsuccessful. They still aren't acting as cliffs. And as a corroboration with this fact, the internal minimap filter for cliffs says that I don't have any, even though the cliff tool seemed to work correctly, at least visually.

Any ideas? Any thoughts as to what I missed or am doing wrong? Sorry if this is a FAQ but I just couldn't find an answer elsewhere.

Thanks!

This text is mentioned in the first post.
... terrain should support painting cliffs on it. This works with red sand of Arizona, grey ground of Urban, and you can choose from gravel, gravel snow and snow in Rockies.

Hackworth hello :)

Well you have to know that the cliffs, on aricona, rocky mountains, and urban, corespond only with specific terrain. So if you paint clifs on red terrain, thosa are perfect, but if you paint it on sand for example, it will be highlighted as error = red. Remember you can turn off this red remainder thing, by unticking it in terrain painter tab it say "display error tiles" i think or something like that. I think that for beta 3.1 maps, you can mix all with all, but you have to turn this red thing off, or you will be reddish on the map. I hope I have answered your question as I amk not sure I understand it correctly. Also did you read the manuals with patience? as I am almost sure the cliffs painting things are stated there. To check what terrain go with what terrain type without error, there is very easy way to check it :) i think you already know :3

Flail13 are youy all right? even if on Ibiza just type I will be back 999 days :)

I have yet another suggestion. When in Object Properties Menu, I would like a window which will tell me how many structures I have just highlisted with the "square" selection.

Am I hated already?

I am new to Warzone and FlaME but wanted to try it out. I may be skipping a step somewhere and not realizing it but I can't seem to load any tile sets. I am using FlaME 1.28 on Ubuntu 12.04, I downloaded and unzipped the tileset and the 3.1_b4-objects files. When I start FlaME I direct it to the two directories. When I try to import a tile set I get the error: " Importing tile types failed: Object reference not set to an instance of an object "

Thanks for the advice.

I noticed a problem in 1.29 which isn't present in 1.27. It refuses to compile if you have intersecting objects in the map.
I mean, it should give a warning, of course, but if I want to make a forest or design new structures by intersecting existing features, I have to compile in 1.27

Hmm. I've never seen FlaME allowing intersecting features. Always said "bad object overlap" in all versions i remember (and i wasn't using much 1.29 yet).
