Power to the people!
You know, I am giving the people the power to vote, and if people don't vote, that means, they don't want the power, which means, that you rather live under a dictatorship.

So be it...

Meh, you're just selfish. People always make choices. Voting is a way of sharing your choice, you've already probably decided, but you don't want to tell us what you think :x

Or if you like dragonflythecat???

With "no" there's always a way of getting out of a tight situation - always, trust me

.

Taken a sobering philosophical turn here seems.

Perhaps an opportunity to condense millenia of East-West entwined cognitive traditions in a few cogent sentences that dance around recursion & paradox.

Here goes....

A Yes-No poll without referents strips down the either-or symbolic binary construct to its Western Philosophical essence & links it up purely to the power dynamics we all face. (I define "power" as the ability to cause or prevent change.)

As far as power goes "either-or" constructs are local bracketed instances on a phenomenological continuum preceeded & succeeded by a pure presence that gives birth to those local instances and later obsolesces them.

In terms of power, it is pure presence (the absence of "either-or", among other symbolic constraints) that is the matrix of limitless possibilities emergent outta "nothing" in particular...

You Know. What he said! I didn't vote because I became bound in turmoil and my system crashed and then the dog ate it.

Oh my... a story too long for this occasion, plus going down that path I'd be accompanied by a slew of dear departed shades, including Martin Heidegger, and that alone would likely be the last straw mustering pitch-forks and torches in my direction.

But alas, two brief quotes come to mind that cut to the chase, the yin & yang of polling if you will, & I offer them with insouciance as a consolation for having proffered the woeful conundrum that was my last post.
“Votes should be weighed, not counted.” ~ Friedrich von Schiller
"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy." ~ William Shakespeare

What he said, again! I made the dog regurgitate my system and decrashified it. I am still bound in turmoil, however and still not able to vote.
