Re: WZ League
pretty and helpful. Thanks. I will use that. Did you check that the differences are not from rounding? The online rater I used was only able to use integer values as elo rating and additionally i rounded to the first decimal place in the table above...
I will look into the source later ... i have no idea of Qt but i guess i can check the formula without knowing anything about qt.
Thanks a lot for that nice program. Once my request for the [table] BBCode it would be nice if that program could produce a table like that [table][tr][td]Column1[/td][td]... basically like html just with [ instead of <
But its already great as it is...

Re: WZ League
I feel i should still add some features like undoing, remembering number of wins/losses, manual table editing ... yeah, several fancy export modes should be great too ...
Yeah, that makes sense, though i didn't test this hypothesis (:The online rater I used was only able to use integer values as elo rating

Re: WZ League
Germanium, could you please maintain a record of all games as well please, so that the table would be easier to verify? Just before it's too late. Maybe i could also add some "import game list" to the elo calculator program that will accept plain-text game lists.

Re: WZ League
A couple more thoughts.
Current table contains 9 wins and 10 losses. Something is wrong (:
I'd also really like it if the league players make some timetable, i.e. write a little about their time zone and when they are avaliable for playing.
For example: I'm usually avaliable for several hours starting from around 2AM GMT, but not every day. When i'm on IRC, i'm either playing or want to play; anyway, you can contact me and ask for a game.

Re: WZ League
No, it shouldn't. Your second loss is more important, since you've lost to a "weaker" player (but victory was against an equal).
Thus, the order of the games matters. Thus, you should've added Dylan's initial rating before calculating anything
P.S. I think one of my victories is lost. Maybe against JDW.
P.P.S. JDW is a hero!! Loosing all games
, he never gives up, and this way he can grow further than many others!!

Re: WZ League
Disclaimer: Sorry if i panicked too early
_____________
Here is some list of games i managed to recover, but it's far from accurate:
Code: Select all
Won:Lost
---------------------
NoQ:RBL-effigy
NoQ:RBL-effigy
RBL-Lucky Luke:JDW[BDC]
NoQ:BP[BDC]
RBL-effigy:JDW[BDC]
Dylan_Hsu:NoQ
NoQ:JDW[BDC]
tmp[BDC]:Dylan_Hsu
Dylan_Hsu:tmp[BDC]If we suppose this game list is correct (which is not true), we get the following standings:
Code: Select all
NoQ: 1020.76
Dylan_Hsu: 1007.96
RBL-Lucky Luke: 1007.5
tmp[BDC]: 1000.01
RBL-effigy: 992.979
kracker[BDC]: 1000
RBL-Wisler: 1000
Ryo: 1000
BP[BDC]: 992.817
JDW[BDC]: 977.971

Re: WZ League
I have played Dylan Hsu twice , and lost both games. To make ths brief, no wins for me, and I have played a game versus NoQ, RBL-LuckyLuke, RBL-Effigy, tmp500[BDC], can't remember if I played versus RBL-Wisler and BP[BDC] though. But if they say that I have, then I must have.
