To put it into very simplistic terms, its a mutiplayer campaign.
Everything should use Torx Screws.

I have wrote the following rules so far. Comments would be appreciated.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Introduction
You are now reading the design documentation for the 1st Attempt at creating a Multiplayer Meta Game for Warzone 2100. What you will read will explain how the Meta Game will progress and if you are taking part, show you how to shall play.

Game Map
This first scenario is based around the Falkland Islands (also known as the Malvinas) on which 2 factions will fight for control over the islands.

The map will have 2 main islands each containing 3 normal battle arenas and a HQ battle area for each island. A picture will be created at a later date and placed below here.

Each faction is given a small regiment (per player of that faction) who fight the battles for that faction, also the commander is given a large regiment (accounts for 2 small regiments) but this can only defend the HQ. Every time a player attacks an adjacent battle area the battle date will be set on the forum on which the factions fight out the battles in real time Warzone 2100 format on a specified map. If the attacker is victorious they take the defenders square but if unsuccessful they retreat back to where they attacked from and thus cannot attack next turn (due to the army having to rebuild which costs oil).

HQ attacks are what each faction are fighting towards as if the HQ falls then that faction is eliminated from the campaign (but can still defend any territories they own). When a HQ is attacked they automatically have 2 players (due to the larger regiment there) and then any other forces that are also defending there.

Resources
Oil is the main resource of Warzone 2100 as it powers the whole army. Oil is used for attacking battle areas, replenishing forces if they do not win a battle and global actions.

Each battle area on the map produces 10 Oil resource which the commander uses how he pleases and can give so much oil to each of his small regiments for their commanders to use how they wish.

Resource costs
• Attacking/Taking an area = 5 Oil.
• Attacking Over Water = 15 Oil.
• Replenish Force (only used when a regiment loses) = 10 Oil
• More to come…
Everything should use Torx Screws.

Re: Meta-Game / world map

im guessing this will utilize the forums to play for a while? in which case, the world map will be divided into a grid, showing contested owned and neutral areas for planning yes?

Still working on that map... schools been riding me like a horse recently haha ^_^
