I think Ilu did it for NRS too.How is this done? By simply adding the information to the string in names.txt.

Played through the opening sequence several different ways till I get to the part where my original contingent is assimilated by NEXUS (maniacal laughter audio cue, nice touch
) and I get control of a new combat group (w/trucks) and the base. No hitches in this sequence no matter how I played it. Solid. 
However, seems I cannot do much with the new base or my trucks.... at least for the opening minutes, which I'm gonna describe so you can tell if it gibes with your design intentions.
I can do some research (bug body, choice of weapon line, heavy engineering, et al.) and my trucks can build 3 structs already built (oil rig, power gen, res facility) or demolish them. Have no design menu and my factory can't manufacture anything. 3 oil rigs pumping and attached to the power gen but no indicator of power /$ accumulation. Half the base is dark though my units can still enter and I can still select the structs therein.
Should I just keep researching till my design function becomes available so I can thereafter manufacture and my trucks able to build more than the 3 structs ?
Kinda stuck here, not sure how this phase is intended to unfold.
Btw... all is quiet. No enemy yet.

Yep that's the bug with Command Centers. Demolish the one you get and rebuild it, and you'll be able to design.
I'm playing with the idea of simply not including one in the base. The alternative is to add some code in the .js that checks for takeover events and unlocks the appropriate abilities. The only time things aren't working is when we take over a Command Center, so I'll explore that option and see how it does.

And no, you're supposed to be able to build from the get-go. Remember that I haven't finished all the weapon paths either -- quickly being rectified for Release-20. 
As far as the attack event goes, I have disabled the checks to see if Nexus sees any player units yet. I couldn't get it working properly for some reason that I'm still investigating/troubleshooting. The attack event (for the moment) occurs at the end of M4 at the Uplink Base for now.

Half of the base is still dark? o.O That's not something I have run into at all. I'll add some checks to Release-20 to make sure this isn't happening. Weird.

Don't mean to spam my own thread. 
To start the M3 event, simply drive Sergeant Jenks down to the green beacon in the southwest passage. It'll begin that series of events. The beauty part is that we can wait until we're ready to start it .. the idea being that Nexus and the Red Alphas don't know we're here ...

Sgt. Jenks arrives with Team 3. He's the guy with the Twin Assault Laser. He'll also have Hero rank.

Nope, he arrives with Team 3 when they enter the zone. Strange that he didn't spawn with the rest.
Super Engineer Cyborg Hero? o.O That's pretty odd. Should be Tac. Sgt. Jenks' Twin Assault Laser Python Halftracks.
Hate to do this to you, but try starting over. I've never SEEN that behavior before from the Campaign.

What if the Team 1 Commander is killed right before the NEXUS assimilation and the game continues instead of restarting ?

No big deal, unlike before. The Commander is just there for the buff your units get after being assigned. Gibbs, on the other hand, is important.

been lurking for a while, and finally signed up to ask this
This mod looks really awesome, but I'm having a little big problem. My framerate sucks right from the beginning with it. The starting view of the downed transport runs at ~15 FPS, and never really goes up from that. It's really slow and barely playable.
Is there a solution for this problem? I've already searched the thread for a few keywords, but didn't find any relevant replies. With vanilla Warzone I never get less than 60-70 FPS, and well over 100 in clear parts of the map.
My computer specs in case they're needed: AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+, ATI Radeon HD 4350, 4 GBs of RAM, Windows 7 x64.

Here's an early Save about 11 min in. When you get a chance, no rush, can you run it through to see if you spawn Jenks ?
Don't know how else to proceed. Gibbs is for sure preserved up to assimilation. Sit Reps indicate all is normal initiating Team 3 spawn into the base occupation phase.... but the group configuration is as listed above - no Jenks and the weird Hero Engineer, et al.
Btw... Besides Jenks, what all else should be the correctly spawned Team 3 units ?
