Writing a changelog is the most complicated and boring part of making a release of a new game version (a new beta in our case) out of an existing git codebase, the rest is sort of one-click thing. Everybody loves making commits, fixing bugs and adding new features, nobody has problems with packing the downloads or updating the webpage, but nobody really likes writing changelogs. Thus, whoever wants to see the new beta ... (:
