Try playing Supreme Commander, 8 player game with 100 units each. Ouch!
SC:FA was a bit better.
SC2 nerfed pretty much everything, and while it plays better with more units, they butchered it.

HI iluvalar, its been a long time. Have you tried turning Vertical Sync off in the Warzone video optons? Check you fps while your focused on your base. For me I was getting 20 to 60 fps. Then I tried turning Vertical Sync off in the Warzone options and shadows off, res 640 x 480 and texture 256, and then tweaking my card in the nvidia setting for fasted perfomance I get up to 120 fps with warzone 3.1.
