I don't have Huge problems with it taking out my tanks, i have problems with it destroying my Hardpoints. I tend to spend ALL of my money on defenses, VTOLs, and research so i don't have a lot of money for tanks. If i shift money away from those towards tanks i get squashed, FAST.

And yes i normally play 1vs 2 vs 1 and i get demolished, i did do a 1 vs 1 but i couldn't expand fast enough to build up an army.

I will try focusing more on rocket than normal. I usually focus strictly on cannons, mortars/howitzers/ and research modules.

If you have issues with tanks, go missile tech, with MG to supplement vs. cyborgs. 'Nuff said.

Especially the Void between the ears of people who think that No VTOL is a good idea, and won't lead to arty wars. I've won one, and I have to say: I hated it.

And when i go to attack their base? Bot missiles and MG are bad against structures, with the exception of Bunker Busters.

MRAs early-game. Bunker Busters mid-game. Seraphs late-game.

Alternatively, just accept your terrible structure multipliers. Destroy the base at your leisure. If they send tanks or trucks out to stop you, you can kill them easily.

Though there are other ways of dealing with tanks than just missiles. Flamers are one of the most fun to watch. Especially since your enemies just start freaking out - all their tanks are on fire and they're too slow to escape. Heck, cannon cyborgs will work in a pinch.

I'm damn tired of these complainment threads about weapon overpowered/underpowered :stressed:

Zarel's rebalance is one of the best made balance especially to Warzone 2100. It's just quickly a matter of time to learn how to use your weaponry correctly.

Some guides to make you tuned up with Warzone:

Dylan's Handbook: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4825&hilit=Dylan%27 ... ook#p48535
This is just basic lessons to how become a good warzone player (don't expect to be a professional one in 1 day)

Zarel's Warzone 2100 Guide: http://guide.wz2100.net/
A more detailed guide resuming about weapons, bodies, base and defense structures, etc.

These would fix all your issues. I hope so :)

Another idea; identify the choke points, and station lots of units there. Don't worry about too many defensive structures (save for AA).

Against the AI, I found it pretty easy to rush as many cyborg and MG upgrades as I can - then casually march into the enemy base and watch things turn into confetti.

It won't work against a person, because they'll see the tactic for what it's worth go for a counter.

Also note the AI cheats and gets free power if above the minimum difficulty level.
Give the AI enough free power, and make the oil on the map scarce enough, and it won't matter how well balanced the units and weapons are, you just won't be able to afford to keep up in research and production, and the AI will get a better weapon, with better upgrades, and produce more of them than you can handle.

If you are playing vs 2 allied AI (rather than a free for all), keep in mind the AI share research- thats 10 labs going, they can easily tech weapons and bodies, while you tech only weapons, leaving your defenses low HP, or medium HP defenses, Medium damage weapons, again high damage weapons, high HP bodies.

It may simply be the settings for your AI are too difficult for you, and have nothing to do with weapon balance.

Of course, once you get reasonably good, you'll see the AI really isn't that smart, and isn't a challenge unless it has those benefits.

The AI seems to know nothing about concentration of force, synchronized attacks, targeting priority, or how to fight an artillery war.

Nor does it really know how to control and fortify an area.

It just sort of sprinkles defensive structures around its base, and sends out streams of mixed units on attack missions constantly, without regard to the enemy strength.
