Pretty much everything about it

.. but for starters and if you do 'use 'it; how do you like it?

I think what you're planning is something similar to the
boot n' play linuX-gamers.net live DVD. For more details on that project , have a look at
this. Warzone OS would be cool. Don't forget about licensing compatibilities with the GPL if you're planning to distribute your work though..

Haha, yeah it'll probably be something similar, but not something quite so 'extensive'. The Warzone OS will only contain the game itself and any modding tools that are used in the creation/development/extension of Warzone. (To put it bluntly I'm just modding the hell out of an already 'stable' linux distro [it was never stable for me] and maybe learn something from it.)
As for the GPL compatibility? I think I need a lawyer; I'm still trying to figure that one out, lol.

Try wings instead of blender to mod your models, it's simple, fast, and does not take too much memory.
http://www.wings3d.com/ I believe that it is available for download through the software manager.
Thanks for the suggestion; I'll be sure to add to the list.
So far the list contains;
GIMP - Image editor (Possibly gimpshop instead; simply because I don't like the MDI interface)
Blender - 3d Modeling program,
wings - another 3d modeling program
Firefox (will be replaced by Chrome or Iron[a variation of Chrome])
Inkscape - For any vector-based graphic editing,
flaMe,
WZ 2.3.0
WZ 2.2.4
WZ Current Trunk
wine
gedit (a code editor)
filezilla (for those of you who want FTP access somewhere)
(Possible) a torrent program like Vuze or Bittorent
If you're reading this; you're awesome.
