Re: The meaning of "ic"
Quite often online when roleplaying 'IC' refers to speaking/acting 'In-Character' and 'OOC' refers to speaking 'Out-of-character". Not that on here it really means anything.

Re: The meaning of "ic"
Many online communities roleplay within groups of select few friends. In fact, It's probably the best way to do it.

Re: The meaning of "ic"
Well... Yes and no. It depends what game you are playing, and what the community of that game are like. World of Warcraft for example have specific RolePlaying realms, and quite often a lot of the people on there are actually experienced and are happy to RolePlay with strangers. However you get people who intentionally create accounts to annoy the 'RP'ers and jump around them in level 1 gear.
Just depends where you go.

Aah. I see what you mean now. Well on a 'in the street' basis then yes close friends. However conventions and stuff like that, all the strangers are there to soley RolePlay so it's not really a problem.

Re: The meaning of "ic"
Why thank you. Unfortunately Warzone isn't really suited to RolePlay, or I'd most likely host a couple of RolePlaying events.
