Ahhh, yea... I love poetic idioms & tropes but I usually restrain myself here out of respect for folks for whom English may be a second or third language. In this instance I couldn't resist because I felt a sly inclination to make a particular statement but didn't want to put it in a blatant finger-pointing manner, so I couched it in that broad alliteration making the "verbal judo" less obvious &, I hoped, a little entertaining. It delights me that you enjoyed it.

Hmmm.... it's a bit like ease-dropping which even if it happens unintentionally I tend to shy away from. What peeps are viewing tends to be obvious with the counts so I'm more interested in what peeps have to say than their merely lurking in silence (also obvious without using this function).

But, somewhat related....

I've noticed 3 nicks that have been members 4-5 years around no matter what time of day or day of week I visit - year in and year out. Between the 3 I think there are 2 posts in 5 years. It would appear the 3 have been parked on the site 24 / 7 for years, just lurking. Now that makes one wonder, to say the bare minimum, WTF is that about.

And not only that, they move around the forum - as if they are reading stuff . Maybe they are bots, but how would a bot get an account? What one should try is PM them if that is alright with our admins.

It's possible, you never seen spam posted by spam bots?
And you can also create it "manually" and then setup bot with login data.
