Erm, why aren't we switching over to Colditz's models/textures wholesale? Even if we don't have bump mapping or specular mapping or stuff like that, we have enough. :|

Fine, changed it to "partially incoherent". Sorry if that offended you :|
It's because my own first models/designs were indeed lame and I have no shame in accepting that.

Teamwork solves most problems, and brings anything closer to perfect (even though nothing is perfect). By isolating yourself and negating teamwork, with a headstrong attitude won't bring benefits to your work and your creativity is something that shouldn't be wasted like that, IMO. I suggest that you think about that - I wouldn't care to criticize if I didn't want your or macuser's work to improve.

Anyway - mostly any WIP is lame. Brainstormings also bring up a lot of lame ideas, but is also probably the best way to bring forth the most brilliant ones. Don't be ashamed just because you can't reach someone else's standards, either because your talents can't provide it all, or because the work isn't even finished. The solutions are closer than you think, but you'll never find them if you turn a blind eye on it everytime :?

Anyway, who am I to say that? Please ignore it if you don't like it, I don't even know you.

That is a very long Post in reply to a very simple observation.
You Assume too much and Knowing what your talking about would be a good start for your posts.

The last part of your Post here is correct You do not know me.

Oh, come on, don't tell me you're seriously criticizing someone for their post length.

Not at all Zarel just its content.
His remarks about me were not needed to enhance this topic.

Yep... But I can draw deep conclusions about people from their attitudes and I'm right most of the times, as I can see when I get to know them better, but I always get along with the fact that I can't de sure about anything that came out from such investigations and reflections.

It is curious that you criticize my posts like that, as well. I'll see if I can manage to improve them even more, if they are not good enough (even though I do think that, since I put a real effort to bind my thinking to something more than a straight line, my posts are usually very complete and insightful).

I guess that you aren't disposed to improve yourself after all, maybe you're stuck at the "partially incoherent" stage, which is, IMHO, a pity.

Believe or not, I was reading through that some 15 minutes ago, that's some coincidence :P

I also don't think that the length of the post itself is a problem, since it contains information that I deem useful, not just for you, but for anyone else reading through.

But, once again, for the n (so that "n = more than enough") time, I fail to find my own morality in outer minds. I definetely need some help to change that, it's driving me nuts :annoyed:
Maybe I should stop trying to help people? :(

-Anyway-

I hope that macuser isn't (too) mad at me because of that off-topicness, sorry. I can PM you, Berg, with any further thinking if you'd like, but I don't think you would.

Also, I'm trying to help this topic. That's why I've sent Colditz an e-mail asking for his baseplates, and didn't ask to remove any content from here.

Olrox you continue to judge others when the need is not there please refrain.
Be constructive don't try to rubbish others because you feel the need to vent.

I'll disconsider that unless you want to go on with this talk somewhere else. Not everything that's better is really needed, BTW.

@macuser
I'm still waiting for Colditz' reply, probably I'll only get it tomorrow. Sourceforge is also not getting any progress, I don't know what's the problem, and already contacted support.

I did, and it was some trouble with OpenID, but the support team already contacted me, and they said that the e-mail would be sent to me shortly. That was some 2 hours ago, though, and the e-mail didn't arrive yet :stare:
