About new models of buildings...
there are many original concept drawings and designs used during the development of old Warzone 2100, Do you think of make one of those models, elio ?

All of the labs plus one other one can be found in "warzone.wz" in the "structs" folder.

Advanced materials lab = bladvlab.pie
Aerodynamics lab = blaerolb.pie
Heavy weapons lab = blhevlab.pie
Indirect weapons lab = blindlab.pie
Laser optics lab = bllaslab.pie
Nano tech lab = blnanlab.pie
Power research lab = blpowlab.pie
Rotary weapons lab = blrotlab.pie
??? = blgyrlab

windows user/programmer (winapi, dll-hell) would call it research-hell :P
but perhaps 4 research centres instead of one would simplyfie research (as seen in the game thandor)

i'll those pics as inspiration :)

Well additional labs can be uesd as a moduls... They can just get accese to its res. for main reasearch lab.

One thing I really like about Company of Heroes are the building animations when someone is constructing the building. They are very smooth and animated. That should be a cool feature to add eventually. When you have a great building model like this, having the construction of the building, and the upgrade constructions animated transitions to new models would be really really cool.

What we perhaps could do for the building animations is split up the building in it's individual shapes. We then grow each of the shapes individually. So in this case we would grow the center building first, then the dome, and finally the 4 small structures around them.

Very nice. Now we start to have a whole series of buildings in "elio style" :D

Will you add team colours to the research building?
