The lack of these "defining qualities" (which are really limitations) is not stripping down anything. War, say researchers in Sweden and Australia. They are using the game to improve understanding of real battles, where you can't always see what your opponent is up to.
Maybe these researchers should checkout WZ2100 - NTW of course *cringes*
