The ones for which screenshots have been posted in this thread? Some of them look bad, some of them look decent. None of them seem like a substantial improvement over the current textures, though...

The current textures are just photos and don't fit the scale if compare with a units and buildings. My textures are "handmade" and I try to improve them and at the same time to get them seem as close as possible to original. :)

Also I wait an ideas from the community and staff - how to improve my textures. :ninja:

True, but because of that, your textures lack the photorealism of the official textures. It's hard to say... I'll wait for others to weigh in.

Do you want that wz2100 will be a photorealistic RTS like the "world in conflict" or others? I,personally, prefer that wz2100 will continue to stay a futuristic game like the Starcraft, Supreme commander, C&C 3-4, Earth series, etc. :)

Futuristic games can be photorealistic... I'm not sure what you're trying to say here.

:hmm: Sometimes I read stuff that makes me wonder - "WTF !" :lol2:

In another life I made my living as a photographer. In my travels on planet Earth these days I still take photos I use in various ways.

I've explored and taken photos in every corner of Arizona and Colorado upon which 2 of WZ's 3 tertile sets are based.

Below you will see 2 Lo-Rez files of Hi-Rez original Cliff Face that were the basis for making WZ Cliff Face as 3D Feature Models that I think looked absolutely fabulous in game.

I can release my original Hi-Rez files (under whatever license works best for the project) for anyone who is interested in working with them.

I like the 1st photo (because it's close-up). If you release it in 1024 or higher image size, I can try to make a tile texture from that. :) (license CC0 may be, don't know... :ninja: )

Weird. I tested after I uploaded and it worked - I downloaded it before posting the link. But now... your right. It's as if it never existed. Hmmm. I'll upload again. Maybe I should ask Zarel to put it on his server.

You do realize your old Guide account is still active, right? http://guide.wz2100.net/fileman/

I can reset your password if you've forgotten it.

Plus, I think forum attachments can go up to 15 MB now, so uploading it as an attachment should be fine.

Saturation can be adjusted. I mean the textures just don't look as nice as more realistic ones...

You took some very nice pics.
Do you have your collection online someplace or were you thinking of selling these at some point?

Thank you. :)

I do have a site were I put up all my various interdisciplinary works but I'm re-modeling it so it's not open right now. With my photos I use 'em for different projects some involve $S like with my writing assignments (others, like with my Cinematics are purely labors of love and $$ is not a factor). But i also give 'em away gratis to fellow artists to use as they will in their own works.
