Where can I download WZ 2.3.6?
Just realised I don't have the 236 exe anymore (spring cleaning). It's not in the archive, only the Linux ver.
Reading around the forum, it seems that the dev situation is a bit wobbly. The trunk remains jerky on both my lap and pc - worse, it seems to have faults beyond my ken that may or may not be fixable in present circs. And the 2xx stream is dead, so the mod problem that appeared in 237 will never be fixed (tho' it could be).
So, where can I download the 236 exe? It's the last functioning release and is good enough to play WZ for ever and ever...

First let me say I am not Dev. / programmer so that could be why I don't understand why they are going from one ver. / stage of development to another without getting the first one (in this case 2.xx ver stream) being correct?
While I do appreciate the efforts the community and or devs. are putting into this project, I'm just not sure of their approach on the builds. Perhaps there is more that goes on behind the scene then we are aware of and things in the works that will be well worth it once they have it done?

the "obscure" stuff I have came from a link Terminator posted recently. I assume 1.10a is patched version of the orginal game, but I haven't had time to play with all those wonderful downloads. I know people have begun work on increases res of sequences, but I didn't no any were complete...

Not sure how you get from patches applied that are supposed to solve the problem (or at least work around it for now) to "will never be fixed". Try 2.3-ilu1 or a nightly 2.3 snapshot if you don't want to wait for 2.3.9.

Reading around the forum, the impression is that there is little or no interest in continuing the 2.3.n line of dev. I'm glad to hear you on the prospect of a 239 ver - I had ceased to hope for that solution. In the meantime, I will try to find and dload the snapshot. If I have difficulties there, I will come back to you.
