Alpha stops running after 5 min
Every time I have tired to run one of the versions of the alpha, the games runs for approx 5 min then stops running all together. No error message or anything. The game locks up, Win 7 brings up a message that say "Warzone2100 has stopped working, Windows is checking for a solution to the problem" (or whatever them message is from Windows), then closes Warzone without another word. All of the logs are blank.
Computer is a Toshiba Satellite A650 and runs 2.3.8 with zero problems.

Nope. It happens ever time I run the game, plus I have an external fan cooling the computer so I doubt it is overheating. Also, the computer auto shuts down if it got that hot.

Re: Alpha stops running after 5 min
Found the problem!
The game exits because it takes too much physical memory from the system. Warzone starts out using about 400,000K worth of memory space. I ran the game with the task manager open and watched the amount of physical memory increase by about 3000k every second. Once it hit a certain point were the computer couldn't handle the massive amount of memory being used, BOOM, program killed.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix the problem? If you need clarification on the cause, please let me know. I want to fix this!

Re: Alpha stops running after 5 min
10 sec after starting the game my task manager reads 65,000K for warzone.exe; 5 min later it reads 500,000k; 5 min after tat, it reads 1.2 million kilobytes and closes the program.

That sounds like a memory leak, and it's not good. I think it's a good idea to make a ticket for this.

Re: Alpha stops running after 5 min
Running two skirmishes with autogame, I didn't see any unusually high memory usage, it topped at maybe 120 MB.

Re: Alpha stops running after 5 min
I tried it on my parents computer and it ran fine. And my laptop has more RAM and a faster processor then theirs. Not sure what could be causing it to do that. Any suggestions to fix the problem? or ideas on what the cause is?

Re: Alpha stops running after 5 min
My anti-virus isn't picking up anything, and the only thing having problems is warzone. Nothing else is affected.

Do you use other OpenGL programs? Maybe the leak is in your graphics driver (for the lack of any better ideas).

Re: Alpha stops running after 5 min
Not to my knowledge. the only thing I could possibly think of that could be openGl would be minecraft, but other than that, nothing comes to mind. Graphics driver is up to date.

Re: Alpha stops running after 5 min
Anyone know of any other openGL programs? I want to try running something else and see if it's a problem with openGl, or warzone.
