not so. there IS a map editor for mac. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5309 still in alpha - needs to be launched from the command line and also requires the mono runtime (to find it, google mono runtime).

for launching it, type at the command line:

Code: Select all

$mono --debug "path to flame.exe"

Hi everyone!

My name is Ryan and I live in Wiltshire, England. I discovered this site a few days ago after searching for Warzone2100 music on youtube. I played this game back when it was originally released on PC and PS1. I have always been a huge fan of the game and to this day I don't feel it has ever been topped for depth and gameplay.

I may have to join you lot in some mp action once I've finished the campaign(need to figure out how to get the videos to work).

You'll need to download the video files ( sequences.wz ) and save them in the respective folder depending on the operating system you use (See the Download page for instructions)

Windows:
Video instructions: Place sequences.wz in Program Files/Warzone 2100/sequences.wz

Mac OS X:
Video instructions: Place sequences.wz in ~/Library/Application Support/Warzone 2100 2.3/sequences.wz

Linux:
Video instructions: Place sequences.wz in ~/.warzone2100-2.3/sequences.wz

Hi everyone, I'm Jonathan. I live in the US and recently found the project and downloaded Warzone 2100. I played a demo of it on the ps1 when I was a little kid and was blown away by it. I'm glad to see this resurrection project and look forward to playing some good games with you all

I've been a lurker on this site for about a year, and I decided to join so I could get some advice on the Warzone 2100 campaign (which I've never beaten). I don't know if I'll really be any help with the development of the game, and I'm not quite as big a fan as most of you guys, but I do still enjoy the game and am glad to have a place to talk about it. And who knows, having the perspective of a relative outsider might actually be useful to the development team.

Hello:

My name is Bill, from the American South West.
I just wanted to start out by saying:
Thank You to all of the skilled computer people who invested hours time to make this game what it is today.
I down loaded my first copy 4 years ago listed on the open source game list. I have played 3 times and beaten it twice, the last one is the latest version 2.3.4 work in progress.
It would be very interesting to do some beta testing, from the noob prospective, but I don't have the computer skills to program.
I am having a tough time trying get the mods to work and just don't quite get it yet, any suggestions? Windows XP is the computer I'm using.

Thanks again
Bill
