Your going to try out a graphics program and put your ideas into that?
I would suggest gimp or something similar.
I can see that your ideas might well be useful for advertising of warzone or fan sit=e logo's

But no, GIMP is a free Photoshop replacement. If you would prefer a copy of Photoshop instead of GIMP though, I can hook you up.

nah ive got photoshop on my pc, have no idea what version, ive done a few things in it, and only just recently stopped doing b+w images to try and ween myself off the burn and dodge tools... i will miss them ^_^
