AMD Phenom II X3 710 @2.6 GHz
4 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 9500GT 512 MB
Ubuntu 9.04 AMD64

With the same 9500GT video upgrading from 2 GHz single core Athlon 64 to 2.6 GHz triple core Phenom II raised FPS in crowded skirmish games from ~20 to 55-60. Both binaries were hand-compiled from trunk with appropriate -march set. AFAIK, Warzone doesn't make any use of multi-core, at least taskset-ting it to single core doesn't noticeably affect performance. I can only think about some data structure that fits nicely in huge 6 MB L3 cache of Phenom.

Does anyone want to extract the information from all these posts, tally them up, and post the results?
and it ends here.
