Question is: Does it work without the mod?

I cannot think of the mod being the bad guy here interfering with your multiplaying-plans.

well mp.wz is just the standard mp stuff -- you'd need to add another --mod switch for the realistic killer mod, based on what it's named. based on what you have, it's odd that they don't work, since mp.wz is well supported
