After upgrading to Windows 11, I noticed that versions 4.2.6 and 4.3.4 did not work anymore. So I uninstalled both and reinstalled both and they still did not work. Both were the 64-bit versions and then I uninstalled both and installed the 32-bit versions and now they both work but the config files on both are huge. The config file for 4.2.6 is 4GB and the 4.3.5 is 62GB. Is there a config file I can download that I could replace them with?

I forgot, the reason I am asking for a config file is that the game never saves the options, I have to change the options everytime I start the game.

Can you please compress (ex. zip up) the 4GB config file from 4.2.6, and upload it somewhere where I can access it? I'd like to examine the contents (and hopefully it's highly compressible) - you can PM me a link.

You mentioned 4.2.6 and 4.3.4 (and then later 4.2.6 and 4.3.5).

Have you tried the 64-bit version 4.3.5? It should have an explicit check that overwrites corrupt config files.

How can I put the file on here or is there a free service to put it on or can I put it on discord. I zipped the file, it zipped down to 9721 KB.

It might be easiest to just DM me the file via Discord? (That should be below the limit for that service.)
