Hi All, This thread is dedicated to my maps. Where you can download latest releases (Or until I can upload them to addons)

Feel free to leave feedback and Enjoy my maps :)


Below Is the same map
B2 Original Design bases start off with 4 oil res
B2 High same map but high version starts off with 8 oil res at base instead of 4
B2 Light same as high only I have removed the advanced tech if you are not so keen on scavengers
B3 Fort is a four player map with 8 oil res but has the overkill scavenger fortress base in the center

I feel the oil in the open should have scavs around it to make it more funner ... you know

Lol, previously I had loads of scavs in my earlier creation... I found they actually travel a long way and even go to other bases... I reduced it to be more balanced gameplay. I would love to make an overkill scav map :) I even had scavs in the valley with their own factories but they often just went to one of the other bases (Originally had 7 scav bases)... Would you like to see this with more scavs?

In fact, i'm going to experiment a bit here. I will also make a B3 Scavenger Fortress Version :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

Yeah, unfortunately, scavengers are too unfair and random; they control all their units as a single group that attacks one random player at a time. I think it'd be great to modify scavengers to have every factory operate independently, like i did in the ultimate scavengers mod.

Good idea. Consider that one player could easily be overwhelmed by so many scavengers, while at the same time the other players might remain unaffected by them. Judging from the layout of your map, there is currently little reason to fight the scavengers at all, which would make this situation especially unfair if a player stumbled upon them because he was unfamiliar with your map.

No.
Your scavengers are unusually well-equipped with their tracked Heavy Cannons, half-tracked Mini-Rocket Arrays and Lancer Cyborgs. They even have a Satellite Uplink Center!

We do already have maps that feature a lot of scavengers (and can be downloaded here):
  • on HellsPass, players are separated from each other by scavengers with many vehicles and artillery:

  • DA-firefight has many scavenger outposts, which should be captured to acquire more oil:

  • DA-towers contains many scavenger bases surrounded by hardcrete walls:

    It is the favorite map of Berg, who likes scavengers so much that he even designed vehicles for them.

Good Point, Do you think the scavengers are too well equipped? It does slow down the AI's advancement. I suppose the satellite uplink maybe gives them cause to travel as they see all?

I think showing other folks your ideas is best Wrath Sniper is wonderful but remember the oil had to be won back from the scavs so if you loose to scavs you need more practice.

Noq has a fantastic mod its ultimate scav and to play skirmish against it and win your are a excellent player
keep up the good work.
PS:Remember to search out them errors so the guy in addons don’t have too.

Just for fun I created a super scav fortress... Just was curious at how long it would take to play, or how soon the AI's would either destroy it or take me out. I even gave them flashlight vtols... lol, I know... The scavs were quite vicious

Sorry for including so many variations but I realized people have different play styles, some of you like high oil res, some of you may not be so keen on the scavengers. So let me know if you like a particular map style or whatever you like in my map's so in future I will aim for that. My favorite landscape is the rockies :D

Wrath Sniper, did you have problems with uploading multiple attachments?

I noticed that when previewing forum posts, all attachments except for the first one are deleted.
This makes it more difficult to place images inline.

If you can confirm the existence of the problem, it will probably soon be solved.

Yeah, I did and seemed even more problematic when you place inline. So I tried removing and re-uploading but resulted in duplicate images. And you can only see one attachment, I think the very first one

This is my new map which will have 2 versions for player 0

1 - Overkill - This is a large map with Player 0 in the center having a super advantage, disable this player and you get 4 balanced players with an oil rush in the center

2 - Balanced - This will make player 0 same as all - No Advantage
