Hello...
IP games work fine. But I can't use the "Lobby". When I click, an empty game list appears.
I use WZ version 2.0.8, WinXP.
Anybody out there who knows what's going on?

Perhaps nobody is playing a online game?
and it ends here.

Dude, it's only empty because nobody is playing. ???

Never playing someone in the lobby?
I also didn't understand how to host a game in the lobby. The lobby button appears only inside the Join Game menu.
Or will every game I host be listed in the lobby, regardless I want to play via IP only...?

Any game you host, will appear in the lobby, regardless.
The one who joins has the option to either look through "whats supposed to be" a giant list of servers in the lobby, or can narrow it downto IP address.
though i dont think we'll ever see a "giant list of servers" :-\

Thanks! Now I know why an unknown user "grey" appeared on the list while I was trying to connect with a friend for a private skirmish.
To prevent this, I think I simply could block the lobby server by firewall...
A few minutes ago I checked with ethereal:

A few minutes ago I checked with ethereal:
- When I host a game, my computer connects to the lobby server (by tcp).
- When I click "Join Game" and then "Lobby", not a single packed is sent or received. How could this be? (The firewall does not block any packets.)

Re: Empty game list after clicking "Lobby" - Version 2.0.8
A new observation:
- I start WZ
- I click MultiPlayer, Join Game, Lobby
- -> Lobby is empty.
- I click Back, IP, leave the IP field empty, click Accept Settings
- -> One game appears
- Click Back, Lobby
- -> Now, there's a game listed in the Lobby: "No join biatches". Whatever this is...
- If I click at this game entry, the host screen appears, but I cannot start a game (no start button showed)
