Medals in this game is pretty silly, since anyone can pick the one they like best, it wouldn't be hard to edit the file that controls this.
In the end, it is meaningless on what medal you have.

You know which medals you've earned and which ones you've cheated yourself. What do you say, are the quests and special items and achievements and titles you get in every game, worthless if you can use cheats to get them? You can cheat yourself pretty much anything in a computer program, if you know how to...

Meh... the real good player doesn't care for the number of medals he has... He cares about the effectiveness of his playing methods.
