Hi all,
Being just one month from Christmas (or Gravmass if you so prefer, in celebration of the birth of Newton in 1642) I have decide to give all of you Mac users a present — namely a build of the in-development terrain branch complete with FMVs!
There are some issues to be aware of:
- 10.4 users must have X11 installed (it can be found on the Tiger CD/DVD) in order for Warzone to run.
- PPC users: There may still be some endian issues lurking, please report these!
- This is a debug build of an unstable branch, some things may not work, please report these appropriately.
- It may or may not be suitable for day-to-day play. I will update it as the branch is worked on. Subscribe!
- Performance may be worse than 2.1 as a result of the new textures. This is being worked on, hold tight. My X3100 2.4Ghz Core 2 Macbook can get 20 FPS in Cam 1.
- Text may be slightly corrupted/hard to read on some systems. This is a known bug (due to texture compression) due to be fixed any time now.
The build can be found here:
http://download.gna.org/warzone/snapsho ... _r6383.dmg size 282MiB.
Enjoy!
Regards, Freddie.

Here is a regular trunk build of r6390. Notably the text problem which some of you may have experienced with the terrain branch build of r6383 are now fixed. (And a new terrain branch build can be expected in the next couple of days — after some more bugs are fixed.)
You can find it here:

Regards, Freddie.

This is not a mod. It is a vanilla release of the game on a par with the nightly windows builds, just updated slightly less regularly.
Regards, Freddie.

I have no idea of any of this programming jargon as all I've ever written are batch files on a school computer, and simple ones at that, but thank you for clarifying that

You will need to speak to Giel about that.

Hi,
There is one for windows, but it is snapshot

Here is the link to the snapshots:
http://download.gna.org/warzone/snapshots/?M=D
Search for the one with terrain in the name, by the way you may want to use the 'last modified' tab, because you want the most recent version I think
