Hey Vexed, I am testing now. Be patient and tnx for getting in contact. :)

Edit 1: my first attempt with the .dmg was successful. The included link to the application folder for an easy drag and drop copy did not work. The game did work so far. Doing more tests now.

I found an fix for the Error in the Applications link. It was also not working in the sparseimage from Sourceforge.
I have an older Version of OSX here, 10.6, there was the link working. Perhaps Apple changed something with resolving the location to the Application Folder.
I first tried to mount the sparseimage and correct the link in finder, but after that it was working in my 10.11 but not in 10.6.
Because I didn't know when the change for the Links was I tryed to correcte the link from shell and now it is working in both 10.6 and 10.11.

I uploaded the corrected sparseimage to my Server, perhaps you want to reupload it to Sourceforge, when it is well tested.
http://www.machegames.de/warzone/wztemplate.sparseimage
I also corrected the dmg, with the new sparseimage, so it is now also with working Applications Link.

I forked the Project on https://github.com/kaikiai/warzone2100 - the changes to the xcodeproj are included there in the 3.1 Branch.

Cool, we greatly appreciate your help in creating the builds!
You can keep those test builds up, themac can test again :)

So, I will push https://github.com/kaikiai/warzone2100/ ... 76b0.patch, then I have a few other commits as well, then, I will create a tag of 3.1.3, and we would be using that to make official builds.
(BTW, how do you want to be credited? Just use "kaikiai", or do you want something else?)

Right now, just waiting on Cowboy to upload the requested directory, so we can see what is going on.
I don't want to do a release until I can rule out his issues that he had.

Hopefully, it won't be much longer before the official 3.1.3 is out.

We have tested wz a weak ago, I thought NoQ has look at that. but seem like nope. so posting here. I believe its that same desync bug:
build: warzone2100-3.1git-20151221-035848-715d9d0.exe (host Warzone 2100 - Version: 3.1 715d9d0, Built:Dec 26 2015 - DEBUG )
we have tested two times. somewhere at 10 minut starts desync

The interesting part of the log is this: "Invalid template received from player 0". Once you get that, things are going to get screwed up. So please look out for that.

Did you play with scavengers on the map?

Scavs were off. NoQ said that this thing sets scavengerPlayer to -1 or something. I think he is aware of it. May be hasn't commit a fix. :hmm:

I see the issue in Cowboy's environment.

If the templates file is empty, then there will be no desync.
If it contains templates from things that are only available in the future, then it will desync.

Looking at a fix now.

kaikiai is ok for me.

I tested on the Macbook Pro at work, there was an Problem with the last DMG with corrected Applications Link I Uploaded
and after rebuilding with this Device the DMG was fully functional, also the Application Link.
Either you have already uploaded the sparse image to SourceForge, or my Mac at home was doing something terribly wrong with the Disk Image.
I think it's a problem with my Mac at home, so I will only build with this Device here for now.
So don't upload my "corrected" sparseimage, it's not needed.

The DMG is now working at my Work Macbook Pro and the Mac Mini at work.
If it's working at home in my Mac I will test in the evening after work.

No, nothing has been uploaded to SourceForge yet, we only do that on releases (which isn't quite ready yet, still trying to find alternatives for a certain bug).

OK, we think we finally have a fix in for the templates, thanks to Wulfkind.

Windows:
http://buildbot.wz2100.net/files/3.1/wi ... 415c5c.exe
Linux:
http://buildbot.wz2100.net/files/3.1/li ... c5c.tar.xz

Please test these builds out, this should be the last test before we do the 3.1.3 release!

Thanks again for testing!

So here is a new Mac Build for testing.
This is built on my home machine which does something wrong with the sparseimage, tomorrow at work I will upload the right one which also also does everything right with background in the DMG.

http://www.machegames.de/warzone/warzon ... 415c5c.dmg

I have an question, the mac Build don't builds the filename right, I rename them after build

What i have seen is that it is built like warzone2100-${VCS_TAG}${VCS_TYPE}-${DATE}-${MISSING}-${VCS_SHORT_HASH}

What is the ${MISSING} Part here in the middle?

Found a problem with textures on placing rally points -- factory number isn't being shown.
This could be because it is placed on a hill, but still ... :?

Well, right now, for all the other builds, all we use is:
warzone2100-3.1git-20160110-041130-7415c5c is what we do for these test builds.
For actual releases, we do warzone2100-3.1.3.exe (so here, we use the tag).

No idea what $(MISSING) should be, and I would just delete it.

A typo slipped through, which actually caused a crash, so, fixed that, and now we got new builds.

(windows)
http://buildbot.wz2100.net/files/warzon ... 72ab0c.exe
(linux)
http://buildbot.wz2100.net/files/warzon ... b0c.tar.xz

Thanks to Berg for finding this bug!
Also, thanks to the other testers as well, you guys make the game more stable for everyone!

So people, report those bugs!
