Editing Structure Limits

Hey guys!
First of all I'm surprised and glad to see this forum is still active. It's great that Warzone is still being played today and modified.

So, I'd like to edit some Structure Limits. I extracted the Rules.js file from mp.wz and edited it with Notepad, changing the numbers in the setStructureLimits. Then I saved, packed the new Rules.js file into an archive (multiplay/skrimish/limits.wz) and added it to the autoload folder in mods. I think this is the way to install new mods, isn't it?
But well, it doesn't seem to work as I don't see any changes when opening the Structure Limits in Skirmish. Did I do something wrong?

Okay, I was able to do it after editing the multilim.slo file and the rules.js file and add them to the mp.wz archive. I think the thread can be closed.

i need to do the same, i must make a map mod with long range artillery limited or swich off. How can i doing that?
i've got 1 rules file, where is possible modify structure limits, power etc, but i'm not able to do.. :(

this the file. i can change only the starting power with it, and i don't know how doing other... someone will help me , please?
i would learn something...

i am searching something about it on the forum, but....:(
this script will be simple if someone know a little of it
but not for me...:(
i had tried to change the labs number for example, from 5 to 15 but it doesn't work

but i can change the staring power, it is set to 10000 now, for example, and it work

If you want to see examples of modding limits, look in the Mini Scav Wars mod or the Contingency mod, as both those mods alter limits.

Note that there can be issues if you allow too many factories or labs, Shadow Wolf TJC explains some of the issues in the Contingency thread.

Uh this brings back memories.
I think the thread is still partially relevant, as we still have some part of structure limits in .slo/.vlo (?)

Not only would you have to edit rules.js, you'll also have to edit multilim.slo and multilim.vlo. They control which structure limits can be adjusted prior to starting a skirmish or multiplayer match.
