There's 'help' and then there's -

HELP.!

This last involves finding out exactly what you are trying to do and then doing it for you, soup to nuts.

I donot think your stupid. I think you are an intelligent person. But this kind of work is more about temperment and disposition.

Some of the most complex and sucessfull WZ mods ever made were done with ZERO documentaion. NONE at all. What you brought to the table was dogged determination and a hacker's disposition. Even now with all the documentation you still need to bring some of those traits to the table. Without those qualities, you can be really bright and still not get it done. Not everybody is cut out for this type work no matter how much they may want to be able to do it.

Lots of folks want to play bad ass rock guitar but they donot want to put in the thousands of hours of practice to get good at it. Just no substitue for puttin the time in. Unless your'e ok with playing Air Guitar or Guitar Hero.

Not trying to disourage you but at the same time we gotta be nitty gritty real here.

BTW - this forum is for completed and playable work.

WIPs and stuff that isn't playable belongs, I think, in the Modding and Mapping bb.

Are you trying to migrate work done in v. 2.3.9 to v. 3.1 Release Candidate 2...?

I used mp and then deleted the files that I thought is not needed.

Especially as a novice you should be documenting all your changes as you go along. Even experienced modders do this. If you do this then any software forensics that need be done do not rise to the level of nightmare and you can more readily retrace your steps and also compare to the errors generated. By not documenting you make it a whole lot harder - to learn , to fix, on yourself for sure and, of course, to anybody that would lend a hand. Peeps don't wanna get into it if they see you are obviously not following basic sound modding practice.

Is this how to start my mod I

Copy mp.wz

And paste it in my documents

And rename it to mp.zip

And extract it

And rename the extracted file to Naval.Propulsion.Mod.3.1

Is that right?
