When I want to start the Map Editor comes an errormessage that "MSVCR71.dll" couldn't be found.
Where do I get it, and where do I have to put it?

* That's "C" runtime library and the first thing you have to do is make sure it REALLY isn't on your comp.
* So run a search for it first... and if it's there then you gotta deal with some issues which are explained HERE
* If your search doesNOT turn it up then proceed to download it HERE

For what it is worth, once you get the .dlls, just stick them in the same directory as the .exe.
Then read http://members.shaw.ca/kgmetcalfe3/.
And read it again.
Then you can play with it.

my map editor says something about INVALIDPIXELFORMAT with my directX ... how to fix this?

ok i got verry good card but my map editor wont work =/ it says something about 32 bit and i do running 32 bits on my screen! >:(Buginator wrote: hit start, then run and type

There is a installer for it already.
Then you get the newer EW32 2.1 from the sticky.
What more do you want?
