The main purpose of this mod is attempt to redo the current Warzone's game-balance by removing and merging useless tech items and making the tech tree more easy to understand.
V0.11 fixes the crash when attempting to play a T2/T3 game on skirmish/MP and make Nexus AI work correctly with my mod, but not for Semperfi AIs yet.
It's exclusively made for master snapshots. It's not made for 2.3.x for a reason (or maybe, lots of reasons).
Note that this list is not complete and is subject to future changes, so you'll have to figure out the rest of them (unlisted ones) by yourself.
Features:
Weapons removed:
- Twin Machinegun & Twin Assault Gun
- Bombard, Incendiary Mortar/Howitzer & Ground Shaker
- Needle Gun, Gauss Cannon, All Missile & Laser tech (except LasSat).
- Twin Assault Cannon & Plasma Cannon
- AA Flak Cannon (replaced by Cyclone Flak Turret)
- Plasmite Bomb & EMP Bomb
- All fortress defenses
Technologies merged/removed/tweaked:
- All armor upgrades for vehicles/cyborgs (in a total of 36 items) merged in a single topic (now with 9 items).
- All armor upgrades for bases structures/defenses merged (12 items instead of 21).
- All weapon accuracy upgrades removed. Maximized accuracy for all weapons instead.
- Original upgrades for AA Turrets & Howizters vanished.
- Howitzers & Mortars are now subclasses of a new weapon class: Artillery. All it's upgrades applies for both Mortar/Howitzer subclasses.
- Pepperpot doesn't replace Mortar & defense, the same goes for Hellstorm with Howitzer.
*** Mortar requires Light Cannon & Factory Module. Pepperpot requires Mortar & Artillery Autoloader
*** Howitzer requires HEAP Artillery Shells Mk2 & Sensor Upgrade. Hellstorm requires Howitzer & Artillery Rapid Loader.- Hurricane/Whirwind AA Guns merged into Machinegun class.

*** Whirlwind requires Assault Gun (you can upgrade them by researching MG tech)
- VTOL Factory automatically grants VTOL Rearming Pad to be builded as well it's upgrades.
- Sensor Turrets & Tower derivates merged in a single topic. For each sensor type, all you need is to research it's tower variant and the turret will be available in your design menu.
- Reduced research time for NEXUS bodies, super heavy bodies & electronic weapons.
- EMP Mortar can now be mounted on vehicles.
- Rail Gun merged into Cannon class.
*** requires Hyper Velocity Cannon, Neural Synapse Research Brain & HVAPFSDS Cannon Shells.
- HV Cannon & Medium Cannon requires HEAT Cannon Shells Mk2 + Factory Module
- Reduced research time/price for ALL defenses. Should be more accessible for now.
- Make sure that all Command Turret upgrades applies correctly. Tweaked them all so they shouldn't be expensive.
Starting technologies:
- Tech1 without bases: you'll start with: Light Cannon, Flamer, Rocket Pod, Machinegun, Engineering & Sensor Tower.
- Tech1 with bases: half of T1 technologies researched, just like T1 with advanced bases.
- Tech1 with advanced bases: All T1 technologies researched, T2/T3 tech still remains to be researched.
- Tech2: All T2 technologies researched. Few T3 tech still remains to complete.
- Tech3: EVERYTHING researched (oldschool WZ players from the "retail" era will remember the "No Research Mod")
*Bug: AI will not have all technologies researched in Tech 3. Make sure you always set Nexus AI difficulty to "Insane" so it will not be outteched for a longer time in that tech level (T3)

Interesting.
I think I would replace heavy mg with twin mg instead of removing twin mg, since twin mg looks more awesome. And perhaps remove assault gun rather than twin assault gun
