It seems to make vtol's almost useless with bombs, I thought it was fine with aa, but now it seems everything can kill it better.

Does it work for you ? When opening limit screen in 2.3.8

however, it work in 2.3-ilu1 (dev branch in between 2.3.9). On what version are you developping this ? ^^

I must say WOW. Thes are real nice idea (how i never tough about that for myself Oo ?).

I just need to warn you : those .slo script are short lived. We dont know the futur of them and there might be heavy changes to make them functionnal in futur version.

But again : Wow. Functionnal peace time is something... Making it adjustable in lobby is just wow...

1) i think my mod conflict with your, clean up map folder. it works on clean WZ 2.3.8
I use structure items like bmod-techlevel for set options from structure limit screen
may be u have loaded another modded structures.txt and my file was not load

2) About scripts. what dev planning to do with scripts?
i hope i could rewrite scripts in next versions
also i hope developers can realise some of options like peace time
and i hope in future i could build WZ by myself and rewrite scripts in C

3) I cant host much players, help me with testing :wink:
my scripts was not fully tested

i tested it with cheat code "research all", all armor upgrades were researched
and it was 1 bomb, not whole load
1 thermite bomb killed vergeance trucks scourge

thermite bombs have 200 flame damage per second for 20 seconds
with bomb upgrades it becomes 350
350 - 100 (vengeance thermal armor) = 250
250 * 20 s = 5000
vengeance scourge has 4500 life
this kind of damage has one good option - it not count, if 2 bombs were hit then incendiary damage becomes equal from 1 bomb

Every armor upgrade increases HP by 30%. Every thermal armor upgrade upgrades thermal armor by 40%. How many armor upgrades do you already have when you invent vengeance? I believe even pythons can't usually be killed by a single bomb. I've seen it in skirmish games many times.

You've already been told why your video is irrelevant. In your video, vengeance is unupgraded both in sense of hit points and in sense of thermal armor. In a real game, you can't get vengeance body without researching a lot of armor upgrades first, so the situation depicted in a video has nothing to do with the actual game. Try starting the game at T3, so that your enemy had some upgrades too, and see the difference. Try giving thermite bomber to enemy and vengeance to you and see the difference.

may be you dont know about cheat code "research all"???? i tested fully researched vengeance!!

research all Gives you everything researched

and in video you can see actual vengeance HP at 1:35

oh! i know. you must know! flame damage not applied to your own units.
you can not test thermite bomb at unit belonging to you

"research all" doesn't give other players all technologies. The vengeance tank in your video belongs to player #1, while you used the cheat for player 0 only, hence it remains unupgraded.

at 1:15 you can see that i applied "research all" for player 1
i know why you not believe
maybe you test damage at your own units
flame damage not applied to your own units.

test steps:
1) start game
2) enter debug mode
3) write "research all"
4) make 1 vtol with thermite bomb (design it, then ctrl+o)
5) ctrl+o and click to player 1 (your enemy)
6) write "research all"
7) make vengeance tracks scourge (design it, then ctrl+o)
8) ctrl+o and click to player 0 (you)
9) select thermite vtol and click to enemy vengence tank
10) click to ground after first hit
11) see how dying vengence tank

Ok, had a closer look. In your video, a bomb doesn't kill anything. The only tank that dies is probably hit by two bombs; the other tanks stay alive, even though it's strange that the splash wasn't really symmetric. Probably the bombs don't really hit the target exactly.

Here is my video doing the same thing. It's clear that the tank survives with around 15% hit points, and the tank is the weakest possible on this tech level (my mortar tank has 4458 hit points); your rail gun tanks are a bit stronger.

i think you should set difficulty to "easy" in game settings :lol2:
i tested it 1 time on easy - tank died
and 1 time on hard - tank survived

upd: at "normal" difficulty tank died
