We have a way to allow iphones and ipads to communicate with each other and are looking for anyone who would be willing to really do the port. This is not a joke and I just came across your community yesterday.
To be specific, our library works with internet, local wifi, bluetooth, and we have apps in the store that can connect 10 or more devices together to create cool cross device experiences. Not only that, but our library works on other devices too, making it really interesting for game development and gaming when people don't have the exact same device, but love to play multiplayer.
So, please visit here for a youtube video and see for yourself....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATImHHnJXk -> Ball Blast (up to 10 devices, free in the App Store)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6StUb2YrgRU -> Sports Games (football, lite version is free in the App Store...has mobile notifications for challenging friends that aren't online, but would be willing to play.)
Has anyone really attempted to do this yet? What are the problems with doing this on a small device or on the iPad? We can actually make this a reality, but are trying to choose wisely as a showcase for our library (not really for commercial gain.)
