so, they're included now in our 'originals' repository.
i've also made a cleaned up version (only 64 vertices) from yours, it's all here:

These new Heavy Body wheels look nice, but, uh, how the heck are they supposed to turn, with their top halves covered like that? I know that the wheels don't actually turn in this game, but still, it just doesn't seem logical. Maybe the front two wheels can be completely uncovered so as to let the vehicle turn - which would require only a mere change in texturing.

nah, they turn just like tracked propulsion. they'll turn left if the right wheels go faster and the opposite..

I have now completed wheels for light bodies, and because Zi-Chan asked I've made the casing more rounded.
(I'll upload them in a minute, it's excess polygon deleting time)

Why don't we see real military vehicles do this? All the wheeled military vehicles I've seen so far use wheels that turn.

creating a vehicle with heavy body (python) gives you a second weapon-slot after selecting the first one
if you've "upgraded" a vehicle to a heavy body, then simply switch the weapon, so the second slot becomes available
