Hi,

I've been trying to beat Cobra AI on medium on high oil maps to no avail. No matter what build order I choose, it always out numbers and out researches me. Any suggestions? Also, is Cobra tougher than Nullbot? It seems so.

Cobra and BoneCrusher are the toughest AIs so they are best played against once you get really good at the game and know the tech tree very well. They can beat pros at the game.

As the author of Cobra, I designed it specifically to have the best research tree of any bot and put lots of tweaks into high oil game behavior to train newbies on that format. It will do fine everywhere, from my tests.

NullBots (including hover and turtle) are middle-tier and try to mimic a human player via component adaption. Perhaps SemperFi as well, it does very well against the other AIs, only, it does the same strategy all the time (rockets).

Nexus was designed for beginners and doesn't really do much and plays terrible.
