During a skirmish solo play I've ran into a strange problem: I can research weapons but not their turrets O.o

I mean, I can research for example the Scourge missile, but I can't research (and thus I can't build) the Scourge turret, same with all other defensive structures.

Skirmish was set with T2 tech and with medium bases, I knewn that T2 means you start with already some technologies available but does it ALSO prevent you from researching advanced technologies?

Note that I do have some build-able defensive structures from the start (light/medium/heavy cannon for example), its just that I can't research a single more.

You have to research the wall first for defensive structures. Watch here...

I have almost maxed the wall research (Plasteel mk3 or whatever its called), still nothing.

Scourge turret is a turret, not a defensive structure.
Also, i just ran T2 and researched ripples and i have ripple emplacement available.

Then maybe its something with the map? can the map set rules for researchs?

I have almost completed all research and still there isn't a single defensive turrent other than the ones I have from the start of the game.

For example I have researched the archangel missile weapon, but the archangel missile weapon outpost doesn't appear in the research list.

Why don't you just provide a saved game, anyway?

Not too sure where/how to get save games, I searched around and I picked a file and a folder in
Documents\Warzone 2100 3.1\savegames\skirmish

There was a file with .gam extension and a folder with the same name, no idea if there are more files.

Oh never heard there were building requisites for research...

By the way the moment you build a command center or a factory in that map its the moment the "stupid AI" detects you and attack. And since in that map you are Vs 4 squaded hard Nexus-type opponents, its pretty much game over unless you build some proper defences first on that island...
