Icons and texutres blurry

My friend is using a Windows 7 with a intel HD graphics card that he just updated.

We have tried all of the video options with the texture size at 2018 and resolution as high as it goes. The icons will just not change focus, aswell as the ingame textures.

Again increasing texture size did NOT fix this problem, or change anything at all.

Which version of the game? Did you check for driver updates? Which intel HD card is he using? Did you try setting texture size to 512?

latest master and 2.3.8 both have blurry textures. trying 512 did not fix the issue,
his computer just says "intel HD graphics driver version 8.15.10.2302"
He has updated his drivers.

his laptop is a Acer aspire 57427653

Just a thought... Check for the resolution. Maybe the game(s) are set to a lower resolution, than the screen can actually do. If so, the game will be streched to fill the screen and graphics get blurry. Example would be playing a 800x600 resolution on a 1920x1020 screen. ;)

Not my computer, but the icon and textures are blurry but NOT the picture in the background of the menu, or the warzone logo. Everything else is trashed, including the menu in-game

Did you mean to quote Verin here? However, I think the screen shots in my bug report match his descriptions.

This is still an issue for me in the current master.
I'm pretty sure your bugs can't be reproduced in any SDL-based version (and the author claims he has the same problem in 2.3.8), and also your screenshots don't show any blurry icons (or at least i don't see them) :hmm:

Oh... :oops: i didn't notice the 2.3.x part.

I thought by icons maybe he meant the text in the icon boxes (i.e. factory production) xD

Maybe his CRT monitor is/was dying?

if u cannot read the picture it is the warzone 2100 main menu and the words all have doubles which have been smushed into the original and it comes out like this except for they overlap ever so much ssiinnggllee ppllaayyeerr
