AI Alliance Chat Commands

Post by Darkbee »

I've tried searching all over the forums using all kinds of different search terms but I can't seem to find a list of definitive chat commands that an allied AI player understands in Skirmish games. I thought that I'd asked this before but maybe not.

Anyway, I know that I can use:
"Help Me" in conjunction with Beacons (using CTRL+H)
"Status" I think works too but I'm not sure on that (your allies give you a status report)

Is that it? Is that why there is no list, because there aren't really any more commands than that?

It'd be nice if you could request power and/or units from your AI allies too. If memory serves you can give them units (not sure about power).

Love this game btw, happy to see development coming along. :)

AFAIK, that was only for AIV (not supported anymore), not the current default AI.
DyDo-AI has some commands, those are listed at his site.
and it ends here.

Current AI also has some commands, but very few. I think we should make GUI stuff for this instead of asking people to memorize some exact, hard-coded English sentence fragments.

In a game I played before called allegiance you had what was called quick com. In qc you just hit the "`" key and then num 1- 9 then 1-9 again the first num would select type of message and then the last num would select what message of that type. You had things ranging from form on my wing... to attack my target etc.
