(False positive) Infected!

So, after 1 month of playing i got this type off message about virus. Game was downloaded from http://wz2100.net website.
Shame on those who upload files with trojan horse. :stare:

This is a FALSE POSITIVE!

uninstall.exe of version 2.2 RC downloaded minute before is clean!

There is one false positive, but that has no meaning.
DrWeb (your scanner) has checked and found nothing, so it may be a virus on your computer has corrupted this file.

Checked with the last Avast! PRO and didnt find anything. O_o

Maybe you got unlucky with an interference :(

Use Avast! home or AVG. Those are the best free online antivirus programs :D

Same result on virustotal.com . Hardly surprising, since this file wasn't changed through the versions.

@hjhjhj virustotal.com checks with over 40 scanners, AVAST is 7th in the results...

Scanning engine in background is the same, differs only by some modifikations to user interface and safety against spyware and mailscanning...
And that file is no mail, no script, no rootkit so the difference is zero.

Not only is this highly improbable, it is a false positive as was stated above.

All the official builds are not even built on a windows machine.

No, shame on you for jumping to conclusions. As others have mentioned, you should probably scan your computer for other viruses - it was probably a virus already present on your own computer that infected it. If it wasn't, you should report this to your virus scanner vendor.
