Hi all,

as my subject says, my lobby takes about 10 seconds to load and to refresh. But I don't have this problem when I host a game.

Has someone a solution or an idea of what is the problem?

Yea I once had that problem when I changed my ISP, it was something to do with DNS resolving the lobby's IP. It would hang for 10 - 15 seconds every time I refreshed the lobby.

The workaround is to manually specify what the lobby's IP is by adding an entry to your hosts file.

If you're not sure how to do this let me know.

This is not really helpful... but it reflects the attitude of the full game support and why there is lower activitiy from year to year in the multiplayer game

I am not able to help but there is support in irc webchat there was a fellar in there with similar issues and they worked it out to be a problem with ipv6 and ipv4 some how.
Please look into address to ip translation for your PC I dont think its game related

hopefully people shouldn't need to manually modify that file to get it to work, but it is an easy thing.

The Screenshot makes sense, the problem was just when I followed the Link, I just got the following picture as you can see in the attachments. And THAT wasn't helpful

I'll try to change the Host file in the evening.
