path finding

Hey,
I played a while under ubuntu version 2.2.4 from the depositories and it's a lot of fun! In order to benefit from changes I installed the svn-version today following these: http://developer.wz2100.net/wiki/LinuxCompileGuide instructions. I am not sure what version I use now, nor how to find out, but it's the svn-version from the 30.6.10 and all vehicles act pretty stupid compared to the version installed before. They used to find their way around mountains or any obstacle - now they go strait and get stuck at the first at the first thing which is in their way. As if the path finding function was turned off. Is that possible? Anyone else having the same problem?
