Which is an alias that, on Linux, is usually DejaVu Sans Bold.

I've been using Roboto Slab (part of modern Android) in my gfxqueue branch. It looks quite good, I think. See http://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Roboto+Slab

Thanks for your suggestions, I think this one looks suitably hi-tech :)

:3 So beautiful. I'd love to make my research center similar... :P.

Maybe the "silo"-things could be slightly improved texture-wise (the originals have some kind of windows do they?) and they could be repositioned to match the "holes" in the base (one of them looks a bit off). Otherwise it's just great.

I was actually at some point thinking about whether to make the door "real" i.e. an extruded inset rather than just flat. Making it flat saved 12 triangles, but maybe it would be worth that extra polycount. I can try it out.
As for the baseplate, I just used cnceo's baseplate because I don't think I can do a better one just like that. The cables would probably look better with a normalmap, but unfortunately the baseplates don't support shaders yet.

looks like you found a suitable font. in case your still looking, this guy makes awesome fonts. he has a freeware section with some broken stencil fonts which could fit to wz.... http://misprintedtype.com/fonts/freeware/

Good stuff right there tmp, but yeah, Alpha93 found a nice futuristic-industrial looking font. Also, since I'm working with bitmap stuff, it's fairly easy to grunge up the letters afterwards.
