But I think the textures should be 'cleaner', I think it will look very fuzzy when you have 50 of these on the screen, tiny tiny ones... maybe think of letting the textures underline the shapes of the model rather than adding lots of... 'texture' to it ? Just a thought.

I was also amazed by the Python model, when I saw it I thought 'THAT's what the game designers thought when they made it'!

Great stuff, keep up the good work, I hope one day these will be the official graphics for this game! :D

BTW, just a suggestion. I think you can cut off the whole backside of the wheels. It will never show, not even on the design screens - I think.
I need to create all bodies to test what parts of wheels propulsion I can delete. :-S

Also I think that my cobra is so bad that I have to completely remake it. :gonk:

Why remake a perfectly good body? Exactly what problems are being caused? :c)

I'm loving the models. I prefer the second Cobra model. Also, when you make your wheel propulsion for the medium bodies, be sure to have a sort of tilt towards the front of the body.

I really hope that you make a proper texture though. At the moment the current ones seem kinda funny and amateur, no offense.

i think the oil drum on the back takes away from what is otherwise an owesome design.
maybe split it in 2 and have it a bit flatter & stretch it forward a bit more to make it look like its supposed to be there rather than a sort of after thought.

not a dig at your model, its just something i never liked about the cobra body.

Hmmm, okay I've come back :P

I'll make a texture for the cobra, if you send me the .3ds file, MaNGusT. If it's okay, I'll make some small adjustments to the geometry (I'll remove the small protuberation at the back, it won't be noticed at all, I can make an texture effect that'll produce the same look)

That's it, you give me models, I give you textures
We've got a deal? xD

I've modified the model a little, little bit before mapping it, so that it's very proportional right now, I think
