Gfx help needed

If someone can take a look at frontendX.png  (x=2,3,4), I need some new icons.
You can look at those for a example of the size requirements.

What I need specifically is a icon that would be good for a map preview.  While we got the globe, that doesn't really fit in, and we already are using that for something else.  It also should have the same kind of theme/color that warzone uses now.

It would need to be 2 states, a normal state, and then a clicked state.  So you can do some kind of animation between them. The animation is like the old school page flip kind, where you have 2 drawings on a piece of paper, and you can 'flip' them, and it looks animated.

I was also screwing around with the idea of avatars.
Would be nice to have at least 8 avatars that can be used to represent 8 players.  In the future, it will be custom avatars that people can use.
Not 100% sure on size, but it can't be more than some of the biggest icons you see in infacX.png & frontendX.png in the data\images directory of your .wz file.
Also unsure about color, and if it should follow your players color or not.

Input is welcome. :)

Then when I got some samples I can play around with, we can see if the devs will incorporate the changes into the game.

can't seem to find an varient of frontend. I assume your talking about the frend files?

Indeed. I believe we re-named them frontend a couple of weeks ago, but in the beta/release versions chances are they are still known as frend.

Keeping with the game's overall feel, what if these avartars were the symbols of the different factions in warzone? So you could pick to fight under the flag of the project, new paradigm, collective, nexus, scavengers, etc.

I am not sure about the legal angle in this, and if that will be OK, but it sounds great!

I did some Dr. Reed images, and others for testing,  You can't have as much detail as I wanted, which sucks...
Most images are around 35x24 for buttons, and a bit bigger for some other stuff.

Puts a slight damper on things, but we do need this stuff done, so it at least looks half-way decent, instead of the stuff I have made.

Tell me about it... and then you can go from  ;D to  :-[ to  >:( when you play against me.  :D

Still need something... anything...  I know the size restrictions suck, but we are stuck with a minimum 640x480 screen, so not much I can do about that. :(

Still no takers?  :'(

I also need a font of basically 0 - 9, and it has to be visable under 100% white, and 100% black backgrounds.
Each character should be 32 x 32 pixels, for a bitmap size of 320 x 32.

DejaVu contains glyphs for 0-9. You may choose the colour and size yourself.

Well, that is the problem, the color.  I just can't seem to get a scheme that fits for all maps.

this is what i made, it should replace the computer icon with the arrows. i tried to draw it like the existing icons.

The icon looks good, but I'm not sure what that thing under the globe is.
