That, and I'd prefer to discuss most balance changes with the forum before implementing them.
Still, there’s the whole listening to the wines and moans of those that wants everything stronger or faster, without realizing just what the outcomes of the balance, or un-balance will be.
However, testing the theories of what people wants, is just yet another way of figuring that perfect balance in a game, (though, perfect is just merely a word right now…) So really, I should whine and moan more often, even if it means starting a brainstorm, and ideas domino effecting from that.
All in all, everything it takes; from planning, talking with the peers, discussing, commenting on why it’s a good or bad idea, making me cry, figuring out just what the people means without misinterpreting something, and changing files to match the wants of others, along with the whole testing thang.
So, I suppose what may be short and quick for you, would take long for others. Your just that good at it, you make it seem easy I suppose. And so are the other devs! Hadn’t forgotten about you guys and gals!
